6 Health Tips during Extreme Dry Season

9 July 2019 10:09 WIB

TEMPO.CO, JakartaMeteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted extreme dry season will occur in July until August 2019. Hot weather likely lowers your body immune system that leads viruses to attack.

Tempo compiled eight tips to maintain body health during hot weather as reported by Web MD and Health Line, as follows:

  1. Eat nutritious food

Don’t forget to take breakfast to meet your nutrition intake before starting your daily activities. It is better to have your own eating schedule.

  1. Drink enough water

Water is vital for your body's health, especially to keep body balance, help to emit toxin and enhance your energy. So bring a bottle of water by your side to stay hydrated.

  1. Exercise regularly

Regardless of the weather, spare your 30 minutes to exercise to help your body fresh and relax. A key to maintaining the body’s health is not only through food but also exercising.

  1. Get enough sleep

Try to develop a good sleeping habit by setting time to go to bed at the same time. Having a well rest is beneficial to control stress and mind.

  1. Take vitamin

Vitamin is recommended for you if your daily intake cannot meet your body’s need. But still, the most important is to consume fruits and vegetables to settle it.

  1. Keep personal hygiene

Aside from eating healthy foods, keeping good personal and environmental hygiene is necessary to improve your health, especially during the dry season.
